Environmental Studies Classes Introduce Sociotechnical
Issues |
|
Assistant Professor of
Environmental Studies Kathryn Janda is introducing her
students at Oberlin to a new way of looking at the buildings
that are a part of their daily lives.
"Most environmental studies programs only deal
with the natural environment, but if you think about it, we
spend 90 percent of our time in buildings," Janda says. "I'm
glad that Oberlin's program embraces both the natural
environment and the ones we build for ourselves."
